‘Fake it till you make it’ – is this you?
Faking it may have been your mantra for quite a while now – months, years. Now it is difficult to know what your true feelings are most of the time. There are thoughts that keep circling in your mind that won’t let go.
These unpleasant feelings and thoughts are pushing you around any time of day or night.
You still have a long to-do-list, and so you have been shoving the feelings away. Putting them in a deep place inside.
But something is happening. They are bubbling just below the surface – or they may have just run over.
And the questions…
The harder you try to silence the mind-beast, the louder you hear:
What is the point of life?
Why am I struggling so much with nothing really changing?
Why do I even bother?
There is another way.
You can make a positive difference in your life by taking specific actions.
You already have acquired skills and knowledge from your lived experience. The next step is about reconnecting and creatively using these skills and knowledge to take back control of your life. Silence the internal voice. Bring about the life you have hoped for and prefer.
I am an experienced guide in this process through therapy sessions. Call or

Hi, I’m Dr. Ajuu
I believe therapy can be a joyful, creative and curiosity-guided experience, despite the need to discuss stressful, sad or shameful things. There is beauty in discovering different aspects of yourself and making choices from a place of awareness rather than a place of fear or habit.
My work can help provide a positively different way of looking at the problems. It also generates ways to change ineffective routines and build on successful practices. If any of these sounds appealing, please contact me at (301) 383-5620 to set up a free phone consultation. You can also complete the online contact form, and I will respond to it promptly. Together, we can work to have you regain your balance and start on the path toward a more fulfilling life.
